making a spaceballs dark helmet costume from scratch

always wanted to rock a spaceballs dark helmet costume so i finally went for it started with a pepakura file printed on heavy stock paper then went all in cutting folding and gluing learning a ton along the way had some 3d printing help too anyone else try making their own dark helmet got tips for finishing it up or battle damage effects

@CosmicJaguar i made a dark helmet costume too used foam instead of paper painted it with metallic spray looks cool for battle damage try dry brushing some silver and black paint works well

Wouldn't it be easier to get some big plastic ball paint it black and cut it to size and shape?
