My buddy's dad loves Top Gun a lot, and he just snagged some reproduction patches for those awesome ground crew folks working on the Darkstar jet in Top Gun 2. You know, the stealth plane?
He wants to make those uniforms and surprise his dad before Halloween
Anyway, now he's racking his brain trying to figure out what uniform those guys actually wore.
He's been squinting at screenshots to check the costume. they seem to be all black, but they look a little blue in some shots (maybe bad lighting or his phone camera).
Has anyone else obsessed over this, or seen any good behind the scenes pics that show what those uniforms really were? The right colors, the details of the costume
