I'm currently making a DIY medieval tunic for an upcoming Renaissance fair, but I'm having a hard time finding fabrics that look authentic in my area. I'm thinking about using twill or linen, but I'm open to suggestions. Does anyone know where I can find affordable, period-appropriate materials that are also durable?
