I'm working on a Spider Man suit and I dont know really know how moveable and brethable the actual one is but I'm really big on comfort for this project because its not just for aesthetics, it will be used for a play ,so its gottta be comfortable enough, ad even if that means it wont be movie accurate then I'm willing to compromise. Now I've seen some insane builds with urethane emblems, raised webbing, even muscle shading that looks like it literally walked right off the screen, and I guess that's what I'm trying to achieve but to balance that with actually being able to, y'know, move?

Also debating fabric choices, screen printed lycra vs 3D puff paint, or going the face shell route with magnetic lenses. Any tips for this spidey suit please, I would love, TIA

Why not focus on comfort first if the suit's for a play? You'll be moving a lot, and even the best-looking suit won't work if you can't breathe or bend in it

When looking for comfort, think about stretchy and airy stuff first. Light lycra, without a bunch of extra stuff, lets you move without problems. Also, magnetic lenses are a good pick

That sounds like an awesome project! I helped build a Spidey suit for a school play last year, and comfort was key especially with all the movement on stage. We used screen-printed lycra for breathability and stretch, and skipped raised webbing to keep it light. Have you tried on any suits yet to test mobility? Also are you planning to wear the face shell the whole time or just for photos?
