anyone got leads on good brands or tips for making this happen

I'll keep this simple and say my opinion, for quality, check custom hat makers, handmade leather shops, and 3D-printed masks. Props like the hybrid rose and comic daggers can be DIY or sourced from prop makers. For comfort, invest in padded cosplay boots and good socks.

Arda Wigs are my go-to! Try checking their Hansel in dark brown.. maybe you'd like it, and you can always style it a bit! Then for the cape, I always just DIY but I get my fabric from Mood Fabrics or Joann Fabrics! Maybe you can get a good quality wool blend but just make sure it's a good weight so it drapes well! I also have so many ideas for your props but you can start by checking prop makers on Etsy or some LARP shops!

Dude this build sounds like it's gonna be insane in the best way, love that you're modularizing it for different aesthetics. That's the kind of nerd level attention we need more of

For great movie-like quality, check out Anovos for costumes and Calimacil for safe foam daggers. Also, see RPF forums for maker suggestions. Break your work into steps, start with main stuff like the cape, mask, and hat, then add the extras. Keep notes on everything for your how-to guide.
