making frank bunny mask from paper mache pulp

I know that everyone is making frank bunny mask and we have seen too many people making this mask or costume, but I really like the character, so I'm going to make it in my own way

I'm planning to make a frank bunny mask using paper mache pulp. I'm looking for easy tutorials or easy steps on making a mask out of this material. Anyone had experience in making a mask from paper mache pulp?

That mask scared the hell out of me! looking at how the mask looks like, seems that this is doable using paper mache. but you might need to use like clay on the bunny's features. you can sculpt a basic shape out of regular clay or crumpled aluminum foil first then put the pulp over this.

Mache pulp is an excellent choice because it's going to give you some tecture. Do you plan to make it your self or buy a premade one? If you ask me making it yourself isn't too difficult and it's cheap enough so that you won't worry if you don't get it right the first time. Shred some newspapers and let them sit in warm water for a few hours and blend it. Drain the excess water and add some white glue or flower and mix until you get something that looks like clay.

Sounds fun and yeah its totally doable and a great way to put your own spin on it. I suggest you focus on sculpting the key features slowly, since pulp is great for adding texture. You don't need anything too fancy, just a solid base and a bit of patience. If you want easier cleanup and shaping, try using a mold or wrapping a balloon with plastic wrap first. I have a good tip for you: build a base shape first using foil or a balloon to get the structure, then start layering the pulp over it, keep the layers thin so it dries evenly and doesn't crack and let each layer dry fully before adding more
